"We have it in our power to begin the world over again."

Support Ron Paul for President:    www.ronpaul2008.com
Representative Ron Paul (TX-14) is running for President.   If you review this sorted version of the scorecard, you can see that he ranks #9 as one of the most anti-globalist reps in the U.S. House (out of 435 reps).

Also, check out Ron Paul's poll ratings after the recent Republican debate held on May 15, 2007 at the University of South Carolina.   For the msnbc poll, he got a 49% approval rating, whereas the next highest candidate (of the 10 candidates) got only 23%.   For the Fox News poll, 25% of respondents said he won the debate.   In this YouTube video, it is obvious that the anchors at Fox News were surprised that Ron Paul was leading in the Fox News poll.

These poll results are remarkable considering that most people have never heard of Ron Paul, and it shows that his message has enough popular appeal to allow him to win, both in the Republican primary as well as in the general election.

Of course, the media would like to marginalize his candidacy, but if enough people get involved, Ron Paul can win.   For his last Congressional race, he raised 1.5 million dollars, with 96% coming from individual contributions.   But if you cannot contribute money, then there are other ways you can lend support to the campaign.   Ultimately, it comes down to who people decide to vote for, when they enter the voting booth.   Thus, the main point is to get the message out.   Go to www.ronpaul2008.com and find a way to get involved.   Become an activist!

Throw the Bums Out
We have all heard people express the popular sentiment "throw the bums out", if not exactly in those words.   In this case, the "bums" are the members of Congress who are selling-out our nation to the narrow interests of the elite, which includes corporate executives, billionaires, and foreign governments.   Yet, despite this popular sentiment, "We The People" re-elect the same members of Congress every two years.

The Situation:   The re-election rate for members of the U.S. House of Representatives is 90% plus.
Year Re-election %
2000 98%
2002 96%
2004 98%
2006 94%
2008 Let's strive for less than 90% in November 2008.

The Question:   Will the politicians ever care about what we think, if we re-elect them no matter what they do?   The answer is "not likely."

The Problem:   Most members of Congress are selling-out our national interest to an elite few.   Yet, there is a sizeable minority in Congress that our fighting the globalist agenda.   Also, there is a significant portion of Congress that appears undecided or indifferent.   The Globalism Scorecard shown on the home page will help us to differentiate between these groups in Congress.
Score Description  Their Stand on Globalism  % of House
 Patriot to  Stongly Opposed  11%
 Patriot  to  Mildly Opposed  36%
Globalist    to  •••••  Supports Globalism  53%
The Solution:   Vote out all politicians who are not strongly on the side of the national interest.   In other words, vote for the challengers of politicians who support globalism.   This will send a loud message to Congress that "if you're a globalist, you cannot get re-elected."   Since all members of Congress want to be re-elected, they will be strongly incentivized to do the People's Will.   The result will be that suddenly, many Congress people who were globalists will suddenly decide to become patriots.   Those that refuse will be steadily eliminated with each successive election.   New members will recognize that if they want a second term, then they better get with the program.

The Method:   Pick a challenger and support them as much as you can in the year 2008.   Get involved as early as possible, even before the primaries and much before the general election.   If possible, join the election campaign of a challenger and contribute your time or money.   Encourage everyone you know (as well as complete strangers) to do the same.   And by all means, vote in both the primaries and the general election.   Go to www.Vote-Smart.org for more information about voting, as well as registering to vote.   You can also contact the election officials for your state (click here).

Pep Talk:  Is Stopping Globalism a Lost Cause?

During the American Revolutionary War, Thomas Paine wrote: "These are the times that try men's souls... Tyranny, like Hell, is not easily conquered."   In today's world, the tyranny comes from a corporate-state partnership that transcends nations and continuously grows in power, giving the appearance of invincibility.   To bolster this impression, the globalists regularly disseminate a viewpoint in the media that the dissolution of our borders is inevitable, and therefore resistance is futile.   They want us to believe there is nothing we can do about it, so that we will acquiesce to these changes, which are resulting in a steady loss of our sovereignty, democracy, and prosperity.

In truth, we can stop them, if we try, and the globalists know it too.  They're well aware of what they incorrectly refer to as our "berserker nativism" (truthfully, this is simply "impassioned patriotism") and they are so frightened of its power that they have endeavored to keep their plans as secret as possible.   For if their plans were fully exposed to the light of day, they know that the American people would demand their government return to its constitutionally mandated focus on preserving and bettering our beloved country, the United States of America

Thus, our mission is clear: to sound the alarm and inform as many of our fellow citizens of this increasing threat, and to become involved in all manner of ways.   If just a few Americans were to become determined activists, then we would certainly succeed once again in rescuing our nation from tyranny.   The only things holding us back are the lack of awareness among the general public and a lack of belief in our collective power.   Yet what Thomas Paine wrote in 1776 is still true today: "we have it in our power to begin the world over again."
